Long Bien bridge, Hanoi

This Ultra-mini art piece was inspired by a recent trip to Long Bien bridge, Hanoi. The bridge itself is an iconic symbol of the city and was constructed between 1899 and 1902 and connects two main districts of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem and Long Bien.

At sunset there is a special atmosphere on the bridge and the day drifts away and travelling commuters are speeding home after a long days work.

This image was hand drawn from the artist’s photography and hand carved into a 10 x 7.5cm Japanese magnolia woodblock.

Limited edition of only 10, single layer woodcut prints, hand painted with watercolor tones on 300GSM 100% cotton rag.
