Banh Chuoi, Hoi An - Single layer

As part of my Hoi An series which was exhibited in January 2019 at the Anantara Hotel this print was inspired by the many banana roti stands you can see across the old town. Another popular fashion in Hoi An are the banana shirts that sell to tourists. The character in the image is wearing a banana shirt whilst choosing his banana based snack.
