A Quiet Hoi An

This woodcut was inspired by a recent trip back to Hoi An where a lack of tourists meant you could really take in the ancient town's beautiful architecture. The pandemic and also the recent storms have really put local businesses here to the test but things are looking up as visitors slowly return.

This illustration was hand drawn from my own photography on a bike trip through the ancient town.

Limited edition of 4, hand burnished woodcut reduction prints with two stages of watercolor tones hand painted. These are printed on Arches 300 GSM archival rag.
